As we are approaching SDC 2026 Worlds (October 2-4) we have created the SDC 2026 Worlds Information Page. All updates will be here. When in question, check here for the latest information.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH - If you do not have a professional photo for your SDC.RCDrift.io Competitor Picture, you will not pass Tech. No pets, no funny faces, no nothing out of the ordinary. We normally have some control over this, but this year we do not. The only thing we can control is if we allow you to compete with the picture you are providing. We are not going to chase you for this. You will be skipped for the day. Once Tech is closed, we will not check your photo until the following day.
No crying, no begging. You Have Been Warned

The store officially closes at 10:30pm daily.

If you are pitting on the store side, be aware the gate will be locked at 11:00pm
So anything you need to drive after then must be moved out before 11:00pm.
Our guys need to get home to rest to be here early the next day. Please be mindful of the time and let them lock the gate promptly at 11:00pm.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT - NOTHING CAN BE LEFT IN THE VENUE.
New tables coming Thursday morning.

THURSDAY - MEET AND GREET:
Competitor Name Tags will be handed out THURSDAY at the Meet and Greet. For those who are not here, you will pick up your Competitor Name Tag on Friday Morning.

Dinner provided by Super-G will be served at 7:00pm.

Competitors with Name Tags served first.

FRIDAY - OPENING DAY (QUALIFYING ROUND 1 AND 2):
When you arrive at SDC 2026 Worlds Competition on Friday. If you already have your Name Tag, proceed to your designated line to receive your Competition Tires.
ALL 4 tires must be used throughout the competition.

KEEP YOUR TIRE BAG. KEEP YOUR TIRE BAG. KEEP YOUR TIRE BAG.
There is a label on your tire bag. Make sure to fill it out.

TIRES WILL BE TURNED IN EACH DAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
IF YOU FAIL TO TURN IN YOUR TIRES, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TURN IN YOUR TIRES AND PURCHASE A NEW SET OF 4 TO BE USED IN THE COMPETITION FROM THAT POINT FORWARD.

PRACTICE GROUPS:
There will be 8 sets of colored wristbands available when you arrive. These will be for the Practice Groups. You will select one.
Each Practice Group will the have same amount of sessions starting at 7:30am.

Each Practice Group will stage against the Super-G Graffiti Wall and enter from the left side of the driver's stand.

Make sure while driving you are standing behind the black line.
This is to ensure everyone can see the track unobstructed.

When the 10 second countdown starts, please complete your lap and head directly to the exit.
DO NOT line up for another lap.

Exit to the right side of the driver's stand.

UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 29, 2026

If you see something that needs attention. ANYTHING that needs attention, PLEASE let one of us know.

We want to give you the best experience we can possibly provide, but we can't be everywhere all the time. Blasting us online for the things we missed doesn't make the situation better, but letting us know will.

Help us make this event the best it can be. Trash full, no water in the sink, out of paper towels, someone spilled a drink, bathrooms need attention, Let Us Know, Please.

Parking: Be considerate of our neighbors
Since Opening Day is Friday, we need to be mindful of the business in our complex. They are all open for business Friday. Saturday is better, and Sunday is even better than that. We do ask everyone to please respect their businesses.

Do NOT park in front of any roll-up gate before 7pm
Do NOT move cones and park in those spots
Please use the trash cans - We will have trashcans around the parking lot. If they are full, let one of our guys know.

SHUTTLE FROM THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT BALDWIN PARK:
DJ from Drift PDX will be providing a shuttle from the Courtyard Marriott Baldwin Park to Super-G in the morning.

He will also be providing a shuttle back to the Courtyard Marriott Baldwin Park in the evening.

We ask you to give him at least $5 / ride, as he is providing a service to you guys, and saving a bunch of headache with parking. He's using his gas and time. Plus it is far cheaper than grabbing an Uber.

The times will be set by DJ.
One important stipulation - Under No Circumstances will any other rides be given. Please do not ask, the answer is no.

SDC 2026 U.S. Championship - The Battle of Champions
This is a special class within the SDC 2026 Worlds Event where the SDC 2026 Regional Champions who made it to SDC 2026 Worlds get to battle it out to determine the SDC 2026 United States Champion.

Format will be a Random Tandem (Tsuiso) since all these competitors are the Champions of their respective region, you can say they are all Top Qualifiers.

Super-G will be providing Air Travel to 2027 WTDC and 2027 R.C.D.C. (Contingent on R.C.D.C. Acceptance) to the SDC 2026 U.S. Champion.

Program Format:

Controlled Practice
Wristbands for practice groups will be distributed at open.
1 hour cycle time - This means in 1 hours your group will be up again.
No Tandeming allowed. This is for individual practice only.

Qualifying / Battles:

Load-In Time Limit
In order to keep things moving, there will be a 3 Minute Load-In Time Limit.
When your group is called to the track, you will have 3 minutes to get your car on the track.
After 3 minutes, no cars will be allowed to load. A zero will be awarded for the run.
On the track, ready to go is considered part of the competition.
We cannot have 175 people waiting for someone wanting to finish their ice cream.

Tech
Due to the number of competitors, it is strongly recommended to be ready for Tech at the beginning of the day. The purpose of Tech is to verify your car is in compliance with the rules and standards.

It is NOT Tech's responsibility to advise HOW to bring a car into compliance, only what areas (if any) do not meet the requirements. It is the competitor's responsibility to figure out the how. The rules are available so you can arrive prepared.

Any changes in equipment after Tech will need to be re-tech'd before competing.

It is the competitor's responsibility to bring the car to have it checked and pass Tech. We will NOT be calling individuals to remind anyone. Make sure you handle this before Tech is closed.

If you did not pass Tech by the time Tech is closed, your car will be deemed not ready for competition. It will be the same as mechanical failure and will be awarded a Zero for the day.

It is easier for each competitor to be responsible for one car, than for us to be responsible for 175 cars. Make sure you pass tech.

Misc:

SDC 2026 Rules and Judging Guideline has a minor update - 9.b has been updated from a 5 minute Load-In time limit to 3 minute Load-In time limit.

Track - P-Tile (Toli Matico V)

Tire - DS Racing Comp III LF-3

Competition Tires will be collected at the conclusion of Qualifying Day 1 and 2. Competitors who do not turn in their tires will be required to purchase another set of competition tires for use from that point forward.

Sunday - Top 32 will receive new tires prior to Top 32 Controlled Practice.

There have not been many cancellations, but we will continue to go down the waiting list as we receive cancellations.

PASTED FROM ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SDC 2026 SEASON:
Regional Champion Requirements for Lodging:
Must be the leader in Final Standing Points
Arrangements for lodging MUST be made through Super-G.
Keep in mind, this is a courtesy provided by Super-G for the Regional Champion.
There will be no reimbursements, transfers of funds, etc. This has no monetary value
Deadline for lodging arrangements is September 19, 2025.
Lodging is NOT transferable. Only the Final Points Leader is eligible.
No exceptions, please don’t ask.

Update July 10, 2026:

After careful consideration, it has been decided the Grand Prize Super-G started awarding last year - Round Trip Flights to R.C.D.C. 2027 (Contingent on R.C.D.C. approval to compete) and WTDC 2027 will be awarded to the United States SDC 2026 Champion.

This is the winner of the SDC 2026 National Champion Battles which will be held on October 3, 2026 at the SDC 2026 Worlds event.

This differs from the previous 2025 SDC Season where the top U.S. Driver was awarded this prize.

There is a waitlist, so there are no transfers of registrations.
Any cancellations goes to the wait list. There are no exceptions

The event will be held October 2, 3, and 4, 2026 at Super-G R/C Drift Arena in Los Angeles, CA.

Super-G will be open Tuesday September 29-30, 2026 (The week of SDC Worlds) for practice and tuning on the competition layout. (No Zones will be put down until Friday, Oct. 2)

Who qualifies to compete at SDC2026 Worlds?

There are a few ways to qualify to compete:
International Competitor
Podium Finish in your Home Regional Round
Participate in a minimum of 50% of Home Regional Rounds
Official Judge for 75% of Regional Rounds - Must be included with regional results
Shop / Track Owner (Regional Host)

Registration for all other competitors (without a SDC Home Region) will be opened Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Registration will be on a First-come, First-served basis. There will be a 175 competitor cap
