Announcing the SDC Super Drift Competition Worlds 2025!
After an amazing 2024 season, SDC2025 Worlds promises to be even better. Ryo Ishii of Team Weld Overdose took home the title of SDC 2024 Drift King. I know that has made the U.S. Drivers even more hungry for that title. At the same time, there are other international competitors planning to take that title for themselves. This should be the most exciting SDC yet!

The 2024 event was amazing and had just shy of 140 competitors. We had implemented a few changes that made the event run a lot smoother than the year before. It had also shown us where our limitations are, and time is our biggest limiting factor.

After some serious consideration, we feel for the SDC Worlds 2025 Competition we are forced to make some changes to preserve the quality of the event and retain the 3 day format.
SDC2024 Worlds Top Qaulifier - Jordan Meyers Team Heartbreak
Everyone who qualifies for SDC Worlds 2025 is welcome, and everyone will be able to participate in Qualifying. It has decided the Top 94 qualifiers will advance to the battles. Bottom 32 winner will bump to Lower 32, and Lower 32 winner will bump to Top 32. Up to this point, we have always included everyone in the battles, regardless of how they qualified, but as the scene has evolved, there comes a point where the judging will suffer as fatigue takes over. So the decision was made, ALL entries will have a minimum of 2 chances to qualify. The Top 94 will advance and battle for the title of SDC 2025 Drift King!
The tentative SDC 2025 Worlds Week schedule is as follows:
- Tuesday Sep 30 - Super-G Open
- Wednesday Oct 1 - Super-G Open
- Thursday Oct 2 - Super-G Open / SDC Meet and Greet
- Friday Oct 3 - SDC Worlds 2025 Qualifying
- Saturday Oct 4 - SDC Worlds 2025 Top 94 - Top 64 Battles
- Sunday Oct 5 - SDC Worlds 2025 Top 32!
Are you qualified to compete at SDC Worlds 2025? Any one of the following qualifies you:
- Podium in your SDC 2025 Home Region
- Competed in 50% of your Home Region Rounds
- Owner of Hosting SDC 2025 Venue
- Judged 75% of SDC 2025 Rounds in your Home Region
- Live more than 150 miles of any SDC 2025 Hosting Venue
- International Competitor
As always, Super-G will provide lodging for the Regional Champion of each qualifying region.

- Arrangements MUST be made through Super-G - Please keep in mind, this is a courtesy provided by Super-G for each qualifying Regional Champion
- This carries no cash value, so there will be no reimbursements, transfer of funds, etc.
- Deadline for lodging arrangements is September 20, 2025 - This is the responsibility of the Regional Champion and / or Regional Host to confirm with Super-G.
- No Exceptions. Please Do Not Ask.
In the spirit of promoting the U.S. Drift Scene - Super-G will be providing Round-Trip Airline Tickets to the Top Finishing U.S.A. Competitor at SDC 2025 Worlds Competition for:
- R.C.D.C. 2026 in Japan - (Contingent on R.C.D.C. approval to compete)
- W.T.D.C. 2026
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MONDAY, JUNE 23, 2025 at 9:00pm PST.
Remember, registration order CAN be used as a tie breaker for Qualifying if both Best Score and Secondary Score are the same. It can also be used for any tie breakers such as finishing position.
