Super-G Does Donut Media 2025 Cruise-In at the Petersen Museum
March 30, 2025
For the second year Super-G had the honor of setting up a demo at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, with our good friends Donut Media. This is an event that Donut Media hosts once a year and is always an awesome event. A ton of very unique cars always show up from all over the United States, and we also get to check out what is going on at the Petersen Museum at the same time. This time was a Ken Block Tribute which was amazing!

As we did last time, everyone met up at Super-G at 5:30am to get an early start. We had been checking the weather forecast all week since last time it rained on us and our spot was on the top level of the parking structure. When we left Saturday night, the forecast was clear, no rain. This was a relief.
At 4:00am Joe sends me a screenshot, RAIN! Yep, rain between 5:00am and 6:00am. Wouldn’t you know it. Well, we met up with the guys at 5:30am and just as promised, it was raining. We arrived at the Petersen and went straight to our designated spot to see just how much water we would be dealing with. Somehow, they were setting up the concession stand where they hand out the coffee and donuts where we were supposed to be.

Where we were supposed to be originally. It all worked out for the best.
Of course we aren’t going to complain, so we headed to the parking level just below, and found a good place to set up instead. Everyone was super cooperative, but we needed final approval before we could just set up in a different area. This area was definitely more ideal and out of the elements, so we were really hoping it would work out in our favor. After some waiting, we were given the go-ahead to set up in the new spot!
Team Super-G, Rogue Factory, and Tech1Drift all collab’d to make sure this was going to be a sick demo! The guys all got to work and before we knew it, they had set up a really fun track. The space wasn’t what we had planned for, but with Shaine Collins heading the crew, I knew we were in good hands.
The surface was different than we were prepared for, but it worked out for the better. We used TSG-007s, our tire of choice for any type of concrete surface. The speed and traction was just right!
Just about ready to open
We had a good amount of spectators for the entire event. A lot of people were interested in how to get into the hobby and what cost were they really looking at. We hope to see some of these new faces join the hobby. We know the last time we did this same event, we had reached quite a few that ended up becoming part of the community. That’s what it’s all about!

Everyone took time out to walk the car show and take in all the sick rides. Some were familiar and many were new to this event. The guys stayed after and checked out the museum. It was really a great event and a ton of fun for all of us. We even took home an award for one of our trucks that we used to bring all the demo supplies!!! That was a surprise!
