Announcing SDC 2025

 

I know this is the hectic time of the year for everyone. At the same time, I have been receiving emails regarding the SDC (Super Drift Competition) 2025 Season.

Currently we are finalizing the rules for 2025. We will get those out to everyone as soon as they are complete.

SDC 2025 Worlds

Super-G RC Drift Arena will be hosting the SDC 2025 Worlds / Finals in Los Angeles, Ca. October 3, 4, 5, 2025 with the Meet and Greet on October 2.

The track layout will be open for tuning / practice starting Tuesday, September 30.

Super-G will be closed the week prior, September  21 - 29 for prep.

REGION REGISTRATION

SDC 2024 was our best season yet. You all did a great job, and we feel this year will be even better.

  • All of you who hosted for 2024 are automatically approved for the 2025 season (If you so wish. Just make sure to let me know NO LATER THAN JANUARY 5, 2025)
  • For 2025 we do not have a separation distance requirement for Regional Hosts. This will be evaluated on a case by case basis as situations differ based on location.
  • The Official SDC 2025 Season will start NO EARLIER than February 1, 2025 and shall end NO EARLIER than August 1, and NO LATER than September 7, 2025.
  • There is a MINIMUM of 4 Rounds per Region, 6-8 is preferred.
  • Super-G will provide lodging for each Regional Champion of Qualifying Regions for the SDC 2025 Worlds Competition.
    • Qualifying Region Criteria:
    • Minimum of 4 Rounds between February 1, 2025 and September 7, 2025
    • Minimum of 8 Competitors per round
    • Results reported within 14 days of each competition
    • Photos of winner in front of SDC 2025 Podium Banner submitted within 14 days of each competition
  • As a host, IF YOU DO NOT meet the Qualifying Region Criteria, you are still welcomed to host your SDC Regionals. However, Super-G will NOT be providing lodging for your Regional Champion.
  • It is recommended each region follow the SDC 2025 Judging Rules and Guidelines, but it is not required. Just be aware SDC 2025 Worlds will strictly abide by these rules. It would be in your drivers best interest to be accustomed to these rules.
