Rhino Racing SV2 Chassis
May 22, 2026

Here at Super-G we have had the honor to be a part of the testing of Rhino Racing's latest offering, the SV2. It's always exciting to be a part of the evolution of a new product and this was no exception. I have found this chassis to really perform well with their new TCD (Torque Coupling Differential). Actually, I have found the TCD to perform really well with all the chassis I have put them in. Who am I kidding.

I am a fan of the wide range of motor placement options, chassis stiffeners, quick swap diff cover, micro adjust shock tower, and their new adjustable width suspension blocks. Two sets of suspension blocks are provided since we found there was something to be gained by raising the suspension mounting points in relation to the diff placement. Rather than to lock you into one or the other, Rhino Racing felt it would be best to provide both types out of the gate.

The SV2 is designed to be used with their proven DDSS steering, but in some early testing there were some good results running the Team AD front end as well. I don't recall if it was a direct fit.

In my testing I have found the SV2 seems to have some increased rear bite. It is very stable, but nimble at the same time. My setup may not be typical since it is setup to be run without a gyro, but I know of at least one other person who is running a very similar setup with a gyro. This chassis works really well. I am excited this is finally in production and should be available in the very near future.
