Super-G Field Trip: Eighty8-RC (Surrey, Canada)

Super-G went abroad to Canada and we had the cancel to stop by Eighty-8 RC!
If you're ever in the BC (British Columbia Area) on the West Coast of Canada, it's worth a stop. Its 50km from Vancouver Airport.

As we entered the facility, we took a few steps up to the main shop/track.

A nice sized track with pit tables and a onsite shop. A good amount of support parts and some rare treasures.

The track was on tile, and there was tandems and trains going out throughout the night.

There was some nice builds! A lot even had some custom parts! Exploring the 3D Print realm and more! Some of them had the shells off, so we grabbed a few shots of what's under the hood.

Of course right away, we spotted a Shark.

Aiden showed off some of the shop cars:

Of course all the usual suspects... From SD3.0 to SHARK! AD-X(RDX) in the back, D6 on the workbench(doing some experimentation) and a GRK5R coming soon!
Saw some familiar faces, and met some new friends! Many have been to Super-G. Couldn't catch up with everybody, but did manage to chat with a few.

Joey(Team Shibata) let us test drive his GRK5R (REAR MOTOR!)

It was nice to see what people were running. Exchanged some ideas and reminisced about things from the past! There was a Sprint2 memory lane and even R31! Even though people are worlds apart, we had the same struggle and the same passion for drift. The progression from 4wd to CS, then CS to RWD was the same path a lot of the old timers had gone through as well.

Thank you for the hospitality Aiden! He plans to drop by SDC Worlds this coming year! Until we meet again!
