"FUN TO DRIVE" Lightweight and Simple
We have developed 1,437 LPs that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced players.
However, since the first lot will be a test sale, there will be no assembly instructions. (We are planning to create an explanation video on YouTube, but please place an order only if you are a knowledgeable person, or if you are a beginner and can work with someone knowledgeable.)
We appreciate your support as we commercialize this new genre. For 15 years, we have been searching for the fun of operating a real AE86 using radio control...Based on the data we have been looking for for 15 years, we have developed a lightweight and simple structure that allows both beginners and experts to experience the fun of operating a real Hachiroku. A machine that is “fun to drive”!
Developed in search of a machine to train drivers♪

LOVE THIS KIT

It doesn't get any simpler then this chassis kit. The whole thing takes maybe 2-3 hours to assemble and is tuned right out the gate for getting slideways.

I found it works amazingly well with a 1080 G2 and 12T 550 motor or similar. And works amazingly well with a smaller brushed system. I really liked how it handled with a 380 revolver on a brushless esc as well. So it's very flexible. A lot of this is due to the gearing and basic drive system. I think a lot of thought was put into this part of the kit and chassis itself to maximize performance with little cost if wanted.

As a build, it was pretty straight forward. The manual had a hand note for a bearing location which was mostly easy to figure out... and beyond that it just went together nicely. You will need a few basic tools, wheels/tires, transmitter/reciever, servo/gyro, motor/esc and battery. And its designed to fit a shorty lipo, but anything smaller will fit in the tray. I've run mine using a 2S 2200 pack like I use in my crawlers a few times.

Tuning the lean takes some time once you have a body on it. I found adding a bit of the foam to the front part of the rear assembly where it fits into the front chassis piece helped. But be careful as the size of the pieces there will make it a bit stiff if you have too much pad.

It drifts great just as it is, but once you tune the lean with a body on it, it's a show stopper. Mine's still a work in progress and I am loving how it slides, the way it leans, and the sound it makes. That tiny gear sure whines nicely, almost like a turbo boost.

I own and have run the MST RMX, Reve D RDX, and Sakura D5 Lite chassis but the LP-86 from D-Like is my new favorite for vinyl/slick drifting!

Pros:
- Affordable
- Easy to assemble
- Not too complicated to understand mechanics
- Drifts super well as built
- Can run off brushed or brushless motors of smaller sizes very well
- Plenty of room to route cables
- Interesting leaning mechanism makes for a fun drift

Cons:
- Simplicity might turn some off of the kit
- Has very little front suspension travel so ride can be jittery on rough surfaces
- Makes nicer hardware seem OP
- Your friends will be totally staring at your sweet drifts and leans
