finally available in the basic MINI-Z RWD model!
After opening the package, simply insert the battery into the car body and transmitter and you can enjoy driving a full-fledged R/C car right away. That is the appeal of Kyosho Ready Sets. The small-scale Mini-Z Racer is particularly convenient as it can be driven indoors, making it ideal for people with little experience with R/C cars. The Mini-Z RWD, a rear 2-wheel drive chassis Ready Set that could be called the core model of the Mini-Z Racer, is being renewed with a new chassis! Previous Ready Sets used the third-generation MR-03 chassis of the rear 2WD Mini-Z Racer, but this renewal will be based on the fourth-generation MR-04 chassis that debuted in 2023. While inheriting the basic design of the MR-03, the MR-04 has evolved significantly by lowering the center of gravity and changing the design around the steering. It debuted in the EVO2, the top-of-the-line Mini-Z model, and showed off its overwhelming speed and excellent maneuverability. The MR-04 chassis has been equipped with an R/C unit for Ready Sets and combined with a completed body of quality comparable to that of a display model. Even though it has been converted into a Readyset, the materials used in each part of the chassis have not been changed, so the quality remains the same as that of the high-end model. The motor is an easy-to-use 130-class brushed motor, and the transmitter is a Syncro KT-531P with a steering wheel and gun grip, which is popular for R/C cars, and is extremely reliable. The car is ready to run when four AAA alkaline batteries are installed in both the chassis and transmitter. Not only can you enjoy driving it in its standard condition, but by using a wide range of optional parts for the MINI-Z, you can also turn it into a machine that can compete in top-class races. The MINI-Z RWD can be tuned up for driving, or even enjoyed as a decorative item, and the updated MR-04 chassis will take owners into the world of authentic R/C cars at a higher level.

This race model is based on the American Chevrolet high-performance road car. The midship-mounted 5.5-liter V8 engine produces 500 horsepower, and its lightweight design and aerodynamic parts give it performance that far exceeds that of the production model.
The MR-04 chassis retains all the advantages of the MR-03, but with updates such as a lower center of gravity, it has achieved significant performance improvements. It is also easier to control, making it an ideal introduction to R/C cars.
The new front knuckle with integrated kingpin reduces scrub by 1.5mm on each side compared to the MR-03, realizing sharper and more linear controllability. The ball bearings have been changed to a 3mm inner diameter type, successfully reducing rotational resistance.
The front suspension changes the camber angle with the movement of the upper arm to keep the tire contact patch optimal during cornering. The caster angle has also been changed from the MR-03, improving steering responsiveness.
The car is powered by four AAA alkaline or rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries. The battery is mounted lower than the MR-03, lowering the center of gravity of the entire chassis. This ensures stable cornering and straightforward handling.
The rear suspension uses a coil spring damper to absorb and dampen shocks from the road surface to improve driving stability. It can also be changed to an optional oil-filled damper.
A T-bar type rear suspension plate that uses the flexibility of the plate that holds the entire unit including the motor and rear tire to achieve a suspension effect. FRP and carbon are also available as optional parts.
All axles are equipped with low rotational resistance ball bearings as standard. The same size ball bearings are used for both front and rear, making it easy to prepare spare parts.
When changing from the standard body, a parts set is included to change the front tread (vehicle width) to match the body to be installed. Rear tread can be changed by changing the wheel offset.
Includes Syncro KT-531P transmitter with a steering wheel and trigger-type throttle (speed control) style that mimics the steering wheel of a real car. Equipped with trim to adjust the neutral position of the steering and throttle, and dual rate to adjust the steering angle. It is also possible to operate in training mode with a reduced vehicle speed (set to training mode at the time of shipment).
