The kit offers three color options. Suspension, armbands, front and rear wheel cups, main shock absorber, CVD, transition gears, and differential are not included in the kit; however, other commercially available products compatible with the Yokomo YD2 series can be used, allowing for more choices and flexible configurations based on personal preference.

  1. Adjustable Rotary Damper (Patented Design) This rotary damper is used for the left and right rolling of the vehicle body. It has 7 adjustable damping levels, which facilitates quick adjustment of rolling dynamics and precise control of different rolling damping at the front and rear, ensuring stability and reliability.

     

  2. Rolling damper spring system (patented design) is used to provide dynamic support elasticity for the left and right sides of the vehicle body. The fulcrum position and force arm length of the spring can be quickly adjusted, the spring thickness can be selected, the spring can be quickly replaced and added or removed, and they can be combined and stacked to obtain different spring group stiffness curves.

  3. Sliding rail type main shock absorber compression structure (patented design) 


    By employing high-precision linear bearings, the compression motion of the main shock absorber is converted into linear motion, thereby reducing the resistance generated by the additional rotational motion at the ball joint and making the suspension operation smoother.

    At the same time, the modular damper sliding rail assembly design facilitates changes in settings, maintenance, and repair.

  4. Front suspension support components: The L-shaped rocker arm base angle is adjustable, and the lateral position of the L-arm is adjustable to accommodate suspension pushrod settings at different positions and angles. The L-arm itself has multiple holes to compensate for the main shock absorber compression travel corresponding to different suspension travels.

    The front suspension upper control arm must be a single-sided fixed type. The upper control arm bracket has multiple sets of holes and a quick-adjustment function.

  5. The gearbox motor position is adjustable . The gearbox motor position is available in two types: on-shaft motor and rear-mounted motor. Both types have a certain range of adjustability. The on-shaft motor position is adjustable from 0-42 degrees, and the rear-mounted motor position is adjustable from 0-18 degrees. Both support a wide gear ratio range to meet the needs of different vehicle configurations. The gearbox also supports a quick-release differential function.

  6. Steering Assembly. The highly adjustable steering assembly is designed to allow for adjustments to the steering arm length, steering group height, steering shaft fore-and-aft position, and steering group tilt angle to meet different Ackerman and bump steering setting requirements, and to compensate for the end Ackerman curves under different Camber and Caster settings.
  7. Assembly positioning. Multiple assembly positioning designs are used at the assembly points of body parts and the connection points of various assembly components with the base plate to reduce assembly errors during the assembly of the body body, improve assembly accuracy, and avoid problems caused by assembly errors of main body parts, such as asymmetry of the left and right Ackerman when turning.

  8. Ball end screws

    The product comes standard with high-precision titanium alloy ball end screws, ensuring both fitting accuracy and smoothness and durability of each joint;

  9. Tie Rod

    The standard configuration for this product is an aluminum alloy tie rod to minimize system inertia and unsprung mass. Subsequent OP components can be upgraded to titanium alloy tie rods.
