EdgeFlex17 Springs ver. 1.0 / ver. 2.0 (17mm) [BARELL] BRL-SG03 BRL-SG04

Bought this for my ongoing RWD TT-02project that never seems to end. Originally bought the “standard” 27mm EdgeFlex springs that were actually too long and caused my steering to bind on my upper arms. These are much, MUCH shorter and require A LOT of preload on my chassis unfortunately. I do feel the 17mm Version 1.0 is a little TOO soft as when the shocks are built right, the springs have very little movement left in them. Hard to tell but tha little bit of movement is really enough for my chassis. I have yet to test it out but the main thing is that my steering can move freely again, this time without resorting to weighing my body down about 200g.

Seriously, if you’re thinking of buying a set, just get them. Be advised to also get the Barell preload spacers if and when possible.

I dont know how to explain it but it works very well on RDX’s rear shocks! Thank you SG for having them in stock!
