Sanwa M17 Spotted at Shizuoka Hobby Show 5/9/18

Sanwa made big headlines debuting their newest remote control. Looks like they finally jumped on the color screen game. Futaba came out with their 4PX a few years ago, but looks like Sanwa has finally caught up.
The Shizouka Hobby Show is a HUGE convention in Japan. Many RC Drift manufacturers release new products for consumers to see. The photos here are posted by Sanwa of Japan.

Looks like a very easy to read GUI. Notice the touch pad(black box with little white circe dots). This is interesting since Futaba went full touch screen, they're using a touch pad. Can't wait to see how intuitive the actual feel will be.

This remote control looks very high quality. Probably the best one to date. Notice their handle/antenna that can be moved into different positions.

Their drop down wheel looks very similar to Futaba's current line up. And it appears you can switch the wheel around for left-handed users!

Looks like there will be plenty of options from different size grips to triggers. Full customization of the remote will be available:

It'll be a few months until we'll be able to see it state side. It's looking like it'll be close to $750-800 MSRP.
