It’s about time Yokomo releases a legit high end RWD car. The DPR with RWD add ons work great, but it’s still a 12 year old DP with RWD parts. The public has been waiting for the new generation DPR and here it is! Although these are “prototype” photos, we are already sold!

We can’t wait to get one and see how it compares with the regular YD-2!

Looks like it comes with some nice shocks and carbon Chassis. Lots of promising features on these photos from their press release!

Announcement of YD-2EX chassis kit

The high-end competitive drift chassis kit “YD-2 EX” will be released as a part of YD-2 series which drove various glory on competitive scene ! More narrowed main chassis is the mat graphite finish and raises it as racing appearance and will provide more well balanced traction along with new designed front bulk-head. Aluminum shock tower has renewed with the increased hole for both shock and upper arm for providing more updated set up for leading competitive RWD drift scene.

The first ship will be planed as end of March.
